1. GENERAL
• These are the artist's terms of service for non-commercial art commissions. By commissioning the artist, you agree to these terms.
• The artist reserves the right to alter these terms at any time. Currently ongoing commissions will follow the terms agreed upon at the time of payment.
• The artist reserves the right to refuse work for any reason.
• The commissioner must own or have permission to use the characters that are going to be depicted.
• The commissioner must be at least 18 years old.
• “You” and “The commissioner” will be used interchangeably throughout this document.2. USE
• You are free to use the commissioned artwork for personal purposes.
• You may post the commissioned artwork online with proper credit.
• Unless a commercial rate is agreed upon beforehand, you are not allowed to sell the artwork in any form (e.g., prints, stickers) or distribute the full-resolution files provided.
• You are not allowed to modify the artwork, remove the artist's signature, or otherwise detach the artist from the artwork without the artist's express consent.
• If you don’t want the artwork to be posted or shared, please let the artist know beforehand.3. PAYMENT
• PayPal or Wise will be used for international payments.
• Payment must be made in full and upfront.
• You will receive an invoice containing these terms of service.
• Payment of the invoice implies the terms have been read and understood.4. REFUNDS
4.1 Full refunds are available if:
• The artist has not yet begun work on the commission for 180 days.
• The artist cancels the commission at any stage for any reason.4.2 Partial refunds may be issued if:
• The commissioner cancels the project after work has begun. The amount refunded will depend on how much progress has been made.
• The commissioner behaves disrespectfully or offensively.
• The commissioner breaches these terms.4.3 No refunds will be issued once the work is complete and delivered.
Refunds will be processed via the same method of payment. Please allow up to 14 days for processing.5. WORK PROCESS
• The artist will provide a rough sketch for approval. The rough sketch can be completely redone from scratch if necessary.
• The artist will wait for the commissioner’s approval before proceeding to each stage (line art, coloring).
• The artist holds full rights to all images produced during this process; incomplete or in-progress work may not be used by the commissioner.
• Once approved, the final artwork will be sent as high-resolution files to the commissioner.6. REVISIONS
Major revisions can be requested during the sketch phase.
After line art begins, only minor adjustments (such as small details or color tweaks) can be made.
If you’re unsure, just ask—communication is encouraged throughout the process!
